Calling All Campers: Registration is now open for the 2025 Summer Camp Series!

Summer is a time for adventure, and our 2025 Summer Camp Series offers new experiences for kids of all ages and abilities.

Our Summer Camp Series is designed for children and teens with low vision – focusing on transforming fun into invaluable skills. With a variety of activities aimed at nurturing independence, your child will leave camp feeling empowered and ready to conquer new challenges.

2025 camps will include:

  • Camp Abilities (June 22-27, 2025): Week-long overnight camp where students play sports, make crafts and foster new friendships at Miami University’s Oxford campus.
  • Socialization and Leisure Camp (June 2-6, 2025): A half-day camp that offers multi-sensory experiences in a one-on-one environment to provide safe and fun participation in activities. This camp is intended for students with visual impairments and additional disabilities who need higher levels of support during the day.
  • Beginner/Intermediate Orientation and Mobility Camp (June 2-6, 2025): Week-long, half day-camp equipping children with the tools they need to learn how to navigate their environment safely, effectively and efficiently.
  • Advanced Level Transition Camp (June 9-13, 2025): Week-long day-camp teaching high school students advanced orientation and mobility skills, navigating public transit, high-level use of assistive technologies such as iPads/Apple products, etc.
  • Arts & Culture Camp (July 7-18, 2025): Two weeks of cooking, music, pottery, performing arts and more.
  • Exploratory Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) Camp (July 7-11, 2025): Week-long, half day-camp that explores various STEM fields with a focus on experiments and activities.
  • Advanced STEM Day Camp (July 14-18, 2025): Week-long, half day-camp that explores various STEM fields at a high school academic level.
