A Variety of Options to Explore
Clovernook Center offers a variety of summer camp options for youth with visual impairments. Typically held June through July, our camps are designed to empower children with low vision and build their confidence and independence.
Summer Camp Experiences for Grades K-12
- Camp Abilities/Sleepaway Camp: A week-long overnight camp balancing adaptive sports and leisure with educational sessions to foster independence.
- Orientation and Mobility Camp: A week-long day camp that teaches youth to navigate their environment safely, effectively and efficiently.
- Arts & Culture Camp: A two-week camp featuring cooking, music, pottery, performing arts and more.
- Socialization and Leisure Camp: This half-day, week-long camp offers multisensory experiences in a one-on-one environment. This camp is intended for youth with visual impairments and additional disabilities who need a higher level of support.
- Intro to Musical Theater Camp: This half-day, week-long camp provides an opportunity for children with visual impairments to explore all aspects of musical theater, including singing, acting and dancing.
