Partnering to Improve Accessibility

Cultural organizations are becoming increasingly aware there are barriers that prevent people with blindness or low vision from experiencing the arts. In response, Clovernook Center is partnering with arts and culture organizations both regionally and nationwide to enhance accessibility.

Accessibility is Our Specialty

The Arts & Accessibility team at Clovernook Center is dedicated to increasing accessibility at museums, theaters and concerts for people with visual impairments. Accessibility audits provide feedback on current amenities and services and may identify enhancements that would be useful to a person with visual impairments. All audits are conducted by a team of experts and includes blind or visually impaired staff. The team also offers on-site accessibility consultations.

Producers of Quality Resources

Clovernook Center applies the highest quality standards and principles of equal access to its cultural experience work. The Clovernook difference is the inclusion of individuals who are blind or visually impaired in the development, production and proofing of accessible materials. The team creates braille printed materials and tactile graphics for use at cultural organizations.
