Katie Brass, the newest member of Clovernook Center’s development team, discovered her passion for fundraising as a student at the University of Dayton. As a member of a professional fraternity, Katie volunteered to help Phi Beta Chi raise money for a networking visit to New York City. Her efforts successfully raised 90% of the cost of the trip for all participants.

In the last 20 years, Katie has held a variety of roles in the Greater Cincinnati nonprofit world. She has extensive experience in grant writing, special events, fundraising, programming, outreach and operations. Most recently, Katie served as the grants manager at Shelterhouse.

Named a member of the 2014 Cincinnati Business Courier 40 Under 40 class, Katie is a graduate of Leadership Northern Kentucky, LEAD Clermont County, Executive Service Corps Nonprofit Leadership Development Institute and was a nominee for the NKY Next Generation of Leaders.

Katie has volunteered with ArtsWave, the Covington Business Council, Vision 2015/MyNKY, COV200, the Freestore Foodbank and many other organizations.

Katie lives in Finneytown, Ohio with her husband, Eric, an artist, and high school art teacher at St. Xavier High School, and two sons, George and Max.
