Clovernook Center Names Jennifer DuBois as CEO

September 17, 2025

Clovernook Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired, the largest producer of Braille printing worldwide and provider of programs and services for visually impaired youth, has named Jennifer DuBois as its new CEO, effective November 3.

DuBois is an accomplished executive leader with more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, leading organizations through transformational growth. She has been recognized as a critical thinker, trusted advisor and visionary, committed to the mission, vision and legacy of the organizations she has served.

In this new role, DuBois will champion the mission of Clovernook Center while fostering partnerships and advocating for the blind and visually impaired (BVI) community. This includes focusing on budgeting, program development and stakeholder engagement as well as leading fundraising initiatives and overseeing strategies to improve print and distribution operations.

DuBois was selected as the new CEO because of her extensive background serving non-profit organizations, including 20 years at Cincinnati Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired (CABVI), most recently as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President.

“My professional background will allow me to support Clovernook Center in building upon its stellar reputation while ensuring its stability into the future,” DuBois said. “I have a passion for service and feel called to continue to contribute to the BVI community. I welcome the opportunity to lead a dynamic team, working together to fulfill the mission of Clovernook Center.”

Prior to joining Clovernook Center as CEO, DuBois most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of Cincinnati Opera. During her tenure, she worked collaboratively with the CEO, the Board of Trustees and the staff to expand relationships in the community with funders and other stakeholders.

DuBois has served on the boards of several local organizations including OneSource Center for Nonprofit Excellence, S&S Fasteners, Impact 100 and Pilgrim Chapel. DuBois is also a graduate of Cincinnati Chamber’s WE Lead Program.

“My career has afforded me the opportunity to forge numerous relationships across Greater Cincinnati and exposed me to many diverse organizations,” DuBois said. “I am excited to partner with the team to continue growing Clovernook’s youth programs and services, as well as exploring how to expand our Tactile Literacy and Arts & Accessibility programs. Together, we will continue to innovate to ensure long-term sustainability for Clovernook Center,” she said.

DuBois succeeds Paul Brunner who has served as interim CEO of Clovernook Center since March 2025. DuBois holds a BA in political science from Miami University and an MBA from University of Cincinnati.
