Clovernook Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired announces the hire of a new Vice President of Advancement who brings to the role nearly 20 years of experience in development and fundraising. In this position, Denise Carl will be responsible for all functions of fund development, communications, media relations and community relations. This includes the responsibility to oversee strategic planning and innovation.

Prior to joining Clovernook Center, Carl worked for Disabled American Veterans (DAV). She also previously served in roles with Thomas More University, The Health Collaborative, The University of Kentucky, The University of Cincinnati Foundation and Easterseals Redwood. Carl earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in media arts & studies from the University of Kentucky.
