Clovernook Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired is pleased to announce the hiring of two new team members, Dr. Kimberly Luse as the organization’s first contracted Donor Relations Officer and Mike Fasanella as Communications and Development Specialist.

Dr. Luse is an experienced professional with more than two decades of involvement as a top advisor to leaders of various organizations including universities, governing boards and nonprofits. As Donor Relations Officer, Dr. Luse will be responsible for helping donors fulfill their passions and interests through their giving to Clovernook Center.

Previously, Dr. Luse focused her efforts as President of Strategic Ethical Solutions, LLC which works with organizations in a variety of ways including executive coaching and organizational development. With the combination of her professional background in communications, executive leadership and fund development, Dr. Luse is a perfect fit for this position. In her personal life, she and her husband Evan are proud parents to six children and 13 grandchildren.

As the Communications and Development Specialist, Mike Fasanella will be responsible for identifying and producing content and sharing Clovernook Center’s extraordinary stories for external audiences as well as assisting with development operations. Fasanella, whose background is in broadcast journalism, has more than two decades of experience working with various nonprofits in advocacy and support positions. This includes the coordination of services for those with developmental disabilities as well as conducting professional advocacy presentations throughout the state and region.

In his spare time, Mike enjoys listening to music, movies, fishing, cooking, concerts, bowling, festivals, traveling, wine tasting, attending Ohio State football games and spending time with his friends and family.

We’re pleased to welcome Dr. Kimberly Luse and Mike Fasanella to the Clovernook Center team. Their extensive knowledge and passion for the blind and visually impaired community will greatly enhance our team and efforts to strengthen our community partnerships.
