Local Paper Cup Featured on National TV

On July 25, at 10 pm, Clovernook Center’s compostable and biodegradable paper cups will be featured on FYI Network’s newest show Home Factory! Home Factory uncovers the stories behind the household objects we can’t live without, and proves that our everyday stuff is anything but ordinary. Home Factory offers a whirlwind tour of some of the most incredible production facilities in North America. And along the way, introduces the mega machines and assembly line heroes who make it all happen. At Clovernook, those heroes are individuals who are blind and visually impaired, who work in our Social Enterprises! Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired produces millions of compostable and biodegradable paper cups every year, last year alone they provided over two million cups to the United States Navy, and sold over three million commercial cups through third party sales at local stores like Whole Foods, and Target. They have also manufactured biodegradable specimen cups for the Cincinnati Zoo! Clovernook is the local leader in producing “cups with a cause”, and they are based right here in North College Hill! Tune in on July 25, or join our staff, the stars of the show, at our viewing party at 1pm, on July 23, at 7000 Hamilton Avenue. Popcorn provided. Tours of the manufacturing floor are also provided, please call 513-728-3946 for more details.
